Header removal

I'm trying to remove headers off a '79 Buick 350 and it's impossible to free the bolts. Anybody have any tricks to freeing up frozen bolts?

I'm going to go with the assumption that these are the bolts into the cylinder head. Simply heat . The problem will be the casting will draw it away as fast as you can apply it. Are they an alloy bolt (like a grade 8) or are they just a common fastener? If they are alloy, they will take quite a bit of abuse before breaking, so use a six point socket and a breaker bar. If they are just bolts and you don't care about the engine or are willing to extract the stubs, burn the heads off with a cutting torch. Hope this helps.
