I saw Jim last month. He said he'd make it back out...glad to see him on the track again.

Other then Marty himself Jimmy must have had the best time out on the track then anyone else. He was beaming from ear to ear.
When I spoke to Marty early in the day I mentioned how terrible it was that it was raining again, he replied, "I don't care! I'm driving my car anyway nothing is stopping me today"!

Great time, great day, great people.

Yeah, I'm glad my grandfather got to drive his Offenhauser. He's been waiting so long just to hear the engine run. I'm really glad I got to watch him race, and glad to see the participation of everyone who brought cars or just came to watch. I'm looking forward to next years show. Don't forget your roots, support the pioneers of the sport.
