Is it imperative that we race Saturday and not Sunday? The weather is showing 100% chance of rain on Sat. and nothing but sun on Sunday. I'm going either way, but rain stinks...

Tomorrow: Rain early...then remaining cloudy with showers in the afternoon. High around 50F. SSE winds shifting to W at 15 to 25 mph. 1 to 2 inches of rain expected. Locally heavier rainfall possible. :disgusted :*-(

Sunday: Rain and snow showers early; windy. Highs in the low 40s and lows in the low 30s. :applause: :-B

Man, I'm glad I moved to Florida. I'm running the 150 lap enduro at Citrus County Speedway, and the weather report says partly cloudy and 75 degrees. :applause:

Just wait untill you strap yourself in the car on a "Brisk" saturday night in July, you are going to hate life more than ever during that 90 deg 85% humidity night.

As for the Sunday thing, Saturday's work better for me due to the fact that I fly out Sunday's, but we have a schedule that people have made plans around and it's a good idea to stick with it.

It just doesn't matter!
Let me rephrase that.
It JUST DOESN'T MATTER!!!
If we change the race to Sunday, then Saturday will turn out sunny and Sunday will get rain/snow.
I'm just glad we race no matter what. Just think, if we cancelled events due to rain, we would be cancelling our third event in a row.
We're Enduro Drivers... We do it in any weather!

What if the 4cyl runs first, since it's going to rain hard early in the day and they're front wheel drive; well, most are. They can keep the track somewhat dry for the rear wheel drive cars.

Hmmm...Uncle Petey thinking of going to Fla. to race? If you worry about the toll curtain, wait until you get "DQ'ed" somewhere in S.C. or GA in one of their infamous speed traps, LOL!!!

Citrus County Speedway is in Inverness, Florida, near Ocala. If you're planning on making the trip Petey, I think it's too late, unless you leave now. lol. If you want to come down, there are 3 or 4 more enduros before the end of the year, all $5000 to $10,000 to win. Plenty of room in my back yard for camping, so come on down. :applause:

Steve, do they have trux there? No enduro trucks from what i've seen Rob, but plenty of rednecks driving trucks with gun racks and empty beer cans in the back.

I just tell'm "I'm Professor Petey doing extensive research on the Civil Wars effect on enduro racing", and before you know it, we're all on the group "W" bench havin' a "good ole' time", hehe.............................
Mr Pitbull, I love racing in Florida, some of the best enduro racin' I've been involved with has been on the tracks around the Daytona area................... :applause:
New Smyrna, Volusia County (way back when they had a paved and a dirt track) and the now defunct St. Augustine Speedway, those were the days......................
You just don't see 10K to win enduros up North anymore.................
OH! I almost forgot...........Does your backyard have big gators? Lost a couple of enduro mascots on the last backyard campsite.................. :help:
