I have been hearing from a few people that the LM field is hurting.. I know most of these guys or friends of their's can get in touch for those who don't do the internet thing.. Can we get a car count? Who's in!

I heard Krupski, Brigati, Tribuzio, Patterson are at least 4 guys not running FT if at all.. The field was hurting last year.. Wondering if anyone else can chime in if they plan on running LM's or not.. Just curious is all.. Been so quiet on here..

Look For The 34 To Be Back, After Workin' Like Crazy Last Year And Also Building My House. I Will Try To Make Every Race I Can. And Also The N.e.l.m.a. Shows.. I Hope We Have One At Riverhead.. Also, I'm Still Looking For A Shop With A Reasonable Rent .. From Bohemia East, To As Far As Riverhead.. It's Going To Be One Long Winter ..after Only Going Out 3 Times ..having A Bad Setup (out To Lunch And Dinner), A Rainout And Then Overheating Before The Warm Up Laps For The Main, That Was A Killer..

The 73 Charger team is moving up to the Late Models for 2007. We will have National Pest Experts once again, as well as Cornwell Tools and Pitstop Deli.

John Fortin???? I don't know if he had 3 or not.

The only problem with that list is that a good number of those cars will not be full time. 20 or so every week would be great, but 14-16 cars and 5 car heats don't quite cut it.

John would do well in the Late Models. Someone should call him. I am sure he would work something out.

Mortgage Guy, if I'm not mistaken John did win three Figure 8 titles at Riverhead - 1985, 1989 and 1990...I don't know if he had any outside of Riverhead. I, too, think he would probably do pretty well in a LM, but do you think he'd come out of his "semi-retirement" to drive a LM? Interesting thought...

Somehow, though, I highly doubt that's who Freddy is referring to... ;)

What, nobody thinks Fred's referring to his 3 time champ, his dad, T.K.

T.K. ran an LM for a night or 2 in 1999 or 2000. Did okay, but due to politics, he was bumped from the ride.

He would do well in a LM today. He knows how to keep the wheels on and very rarely has a DNF. With a little help from some friends, T K would be a good choice.

2 - 3 time champs from the Figure 8's running a LM against each other. The Fortin/Kraft battles on the track were awesome back in the late 80's. Finished 1-2 to each many times.
