12x3=36, 36x35=1240, triple 1240 to be within a generous margin of error =3720, times 3720 by four=14,880, times 14,880 by 5=74,400, take half off the top=37,200, then minus what the goverment takes, then pay the people that work for you, pay the bills, and what's left? Hopefully your home.

I don't know, maybe he is running for Comptroller of some local business or something, LOL! Or, he's switched careers to become a Math teacher! :)

Lots of figures, little or no facts.

75% of doing taxes is 1/2 mental anyhow. I say concentrate on the fun stuff and leave the math to the accountants!

Hey, speaking of taxes-
Like everyone else, I enjoy the $10 'right to work' tax, LOL :applause:
Listen to this one: The township I work in introduced a tax this year that is basically the same as the $10 one, with the exception that this one cost $45 annually (goes to the township)! As long as you work in the township you have to pay it. So what it boils down to is that it cost $55/year to work? Hmmm, wonder if the people that don’t work pay anything?

Not like $55 is a ton of cash, but....
See, all kinds of frustration this time of year!

Geno I can relate...you know how they talk about some areas who have to pay the $52 right to work tax? Yeah, I am in one of those areas. Not only did I pay my tax at the beginning of last year when I was at SSA, but when I started at BoA they took it again, of course after providing proof for a second time they refunded it, but a glitch in the system took it out once again the following pay check. $52+$52+$52....and of course the new year rolled around..and yet again, another $52! It gets even better, living in Mountain Top, our city tax is 1%, but because I work in Scranton...yeah...I pay 3%....isn't that peachy! I am taking Uncle Petey's advice, being an illegal immigrant gets you more benefits!

"Right to work tax"? Who's beautiful idea is this, I don't think it exists everywhere? Good slogan to get rid of it? How about, "The Right To Work Tax is JUST WRONG!"
Thing about Uncle Petey, I believe he is the rarest form, a legal alien!!! :)
