When dealing with an S-10.........Can you get rid of the ABS hardware and run the F & B brake lines directly from the master cylinder?

It all depends on the factory ABS system in your truck.........
The early RWAL system only controlled the rear brake lock-up and was usually tied into the amount of load/weight in the cargo bed over the rear wheels.................. :help:
Personally, I left this system in my truck, it acts like an automatic brake bias valve and helps unload the rear brakes on turn entry....................... ;)
The late ABS system is a four wheel brake system and it only comes into play if one or more wheel/brake locks up (skids)...........................
It can be a help and a hinderance in a race car/truck..................... :disgusted
The computer controls and hydraulic servos/pistons can be by-passed from the master cylinder to the combination valve which are, in turn, plumbed directly to all four brakes/wheels...........................
