I don't think either CJ or Brian Ross raced the 5 on Long Island. Greg ran all of 11 laps at the ill fated 200 lapper in 1982, and couldn't make the rescheduled event the next week as it was the same day as the Bud 200 at Oswego.

I believe you're right, Ted. I know C.J. intended to race it on LI in 1987, but the season hadn't sterted here when he was tragically killed at Martinsville. Brian Ross didn't drive the Wilsberg 5 on LI at all, since he only drove a handful of races between Greg and Charlie's time in the car.

I believe you are right about Brian Ross (my mistake), but CJ did take some laps at Riverhead in the Wilsberg 5 in practice one night. I remember the collective gasp when the car rolled out onto the track.
