Suffolk Police Dot Pulling Over All Trucks And Trailers At Yaphank Rest Areas East & West Bound. Long Island Exspessway. Take Service Road Thru The Area Get Off At Exit After 112 Take Service Road To Patchogue Yaphank Rd (sills Rd)

Watch out, this may not be the best alternate. Rich you may or may not know that on that service road they keep a cruiser and a DOT truck for all those who try to bypass the DOT stop. I work out of Yaphank garage and I see them there all the time. I would even go so far as 25 or South to Sunrise to avoid them.. Better yet, go south on 112 go to Woodside and take that East and then get back on 101 and back to expressway. I wish I could be there with you guys today, but the 34, oops now 04 late model might not make it out this year.
