Ok, We all must be getting our NASCAR licenses in the mail by now. (This is the first time I've bought a license in years since we stopped racing, lol) We got pins and stickers and rule books, (very nice thank you) :rolleyes: , but could someone PLEASE tell me what the heck is that thing that came with it ???? :help: I say it's a chair cover of some sort, BoomBoom's Mom says it's a windshield sun visor. If anyone knows please post asap. I really need to know...Thanks

I got a windshield thing in the mail Vicki. Just think for $335.00 I got, as Walt 'Neuk' calls it, death and dismemberment insurance, a rule book, a pin, a sticker and a very useless windshield thingy. Keep the pin, sticker, and windshield thingy and lower the price.

No, you only get those from the NHRA. And as it works out, if you live on the East coast, you seem to only get coupons good at places on the "left" coast. Or is there a Checkers, Schucks, Kragen or Murray's on Long Island that I'm unaware of ??

I'm pretty sure there is a Checkers on Route 231 down towards the Babylon area...I think they even had Sal Accardi Jr.'s Modified there on display one weekend. Someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...

CSK&M is an auto parts chain out west. You're correct though, there is a Checkers on DPA in N. Babylon. Yummy banana shakes and they are open late.
(I work not far away three nights a week you see.........)

There is a Checkers on Brentwood Rd in Brentwood, on Old Country Road in Westbury, on Rte 110 just South of So. St. Pkwy. and it looks like they're building one near the CostCo/Home Expo on Crooked Hill Rd near the Commack Multiplex Cinemas! Better Burgers than McD's!!!
