My buds and I are making it a weekend of World Of Outlaws this weekend with Stops at Orange County Fair Speedway on Saturday, and New Egypt Speedway on Sunday. OCFS isn't the best place for Sprint Cars, but it is a great place to park your car on the Backstretch, Barbecue, and have some cocktails. New Egypt on the other hand is a great track for Sprint Cars. Since its an off weekend on the Tour, is anybody else hitting either of these shows?

We'll be playing it by ear with the weather for Sunday. Just cancelled our Saturday Night Hotel. Hopefully this thing blows through by Sunday. And hopefully, the track drains well, or no matter the weather, the surface won't be good.

But yes, and meet and greet would be fun, despite no ground pounders in the pits. :)

As of 3:21 PM on Saturday, NES is still on for their regular Saturday show, so it will be a game time decision for Sunday. I'll know by noon if we are going.

Have a great time, those WOO will be flying aroud that track!!!

They built an overlook next to the pits so you can see the cars in the pits.

Food is very good at the track too.

See you all at Stafford

Oh and I know at least 1 photo guy that will be there.

I checked their message board and because of rain delays, they had not started the feature at 12:12 PM!

Did you get home yet Ted?

so Ted, your saying I could have gotten my kids birthday party in and still seen the sprints? (only one kind)

Well, unless her party ran until the wee hours of the morning, you could have made it. Great finish too!!!! Kinser beat Jason Sides by .028 seconds for the $10,000 win.

Great Pics guys. I just wish there was someplace I could find a story on the event.

Jaws. I am surprised the Pics even came out with the amount of dust that was flying around.

I found the article about the NES race on the front page of The Chrome Horn to be an interesting read. It sounded like the same race I was at. Are you ready for Lebanon Valley July 22nd?

Teds Race Tours
05-22-2007, 02:44 PM
I sure am. Sprints and Mods double header on that one. Lets keep the Weather a little dryer on July 22nd.

I enjoyed the article on the front page also. That was one of the best finishes I've seen. that was my first trip to NES,wont be last nice place. I went with the bbq pork very good. I was expecting to be home at 1:30, not leaving Jersy. Pulled in my driveway at 5am. made it to work at 8, suffered but it was worth it.
