WALL TOWNSHIP SPEEDWAY PRESENTS THE MEMORIAL DAY MODIFIED TWIN 35'S THIS SATURDAY, MAY 26TH
There are a few things you can expect every Memorial Day weekend. Remembering our troops and the fallen heroes from our Armed Services, BBQ's, the start of the summer season at the Jersey Shore, the Indy 500, and the Twin 35 lappers for the NASCAR Whelen All American Series Modifieds at Wall Township Speedway! This Saturday, May 26th, the WAAS Street Stocks, RMP MAD, INEX Legends, and Value Towing Factory Stocks will also be in competition starting at 6PM. As always, we would like to remind you that if you have an "active" Military I.D., you can purchase a grandstand ticket for only $6.00.
Current WTS Modified points leader Steven Reed will be competing against 8 time WTS Modified Champion Dave Michel, recent winner Mike Carpenter, and the other WTS Modified competitors. John Blewett III and Dave Michel are the defending winners from the 2006 WTS Twin 35's.
The WTS Street Stocks will also compete with current point leader Ray Minieri, who is locked in a tight battle with Rich Mongeau, John McCormack, and Ron Frees.
The RMP MAD Division will compete in their regularly scheduled feature, with current points leader Robert Geibel trying to battle drivers like Danny Bohn, Ronnie Buck Jr., and Kevin Eyres.
The INEX Legend Cars feature, all the teams will be chasing after recent winner, and current point leader, Stephen Stull, who himself is in a tight championship fight with Mike Fulton.
In the Value Towing Factory Stock Division Feature, Vern McLaughlin, Tom Fratesi, and Nick Shaw will be trying too distance themselves from the field and settle the championship between themselves.
The WTS Sportsman Division will not be competing on May 26th.
The upcoming events for June include a 40 lap INEX Legends Feature on June 2nd, The Race Of Champions Modified Tour on June 23rd, and The Larsen Brother's Memorial 75 lap WTS Modified Feature on June 30th.
Located on Rt 34 in Wall, N.J. Wall Township Speedway hosts The NASCAR® Whelen All American Series every Saturday night from April to October.
