The drama and scenarios are interesting - I can't wait to hear the answer.

For some reason I was reminded of the old Spike Jones horse race song “Beetlebomb” by all of this. (I mean real old like before my time). Sung to the William Tell Overture and I have obviously taken a little liberty with some of the lyrics. Sorry.....hope it is worth a smile. :)

SPIKE JONES

It's a beautiful day for the race
Stooge Hand is the favorite today
Assault is in there
Dog Biscuit is 3 to 1
Safety Pin has been scratched
And at 20 to 1 ... Beetlebomb

Now the horses are approaching the starting gate
And there they go!!
And it's Stooge Hand going to the front
Cabbage is second on the rail
Pitkat is third by a length
And ... Beetlebomb

Around the first turn
Stooge Hand is still in front
Cabbage is second by a head
Cabbage by a head
Bubble Gum is sticking to the rail
and ... Beetlebomb

Into the back stretch
Pitkat is now leading the pack
Coby is second, very close
Banana is coming up through the bunch
Banana coming up through the bunch
And ... Beetlebomb

At the half
Pitkat still out in front
Coby is second
Apartment House is third with plenty of room
Assault is passing Battery
Assault and Battery
And in last place by 10 lengths
I believe it is, yes it is ...
Beetlebomb

Around the turn heading for home
It's Coby and Pitkat
And Girdle in the stretch
Flying Sylvester is fourth
And Mother-In-Law nagging in the rear
Oh oh oh

And now they come down to the wire
And it's number one
And now number two
And it's very close
They'll need to be a photo finish
Or an oil painting
And there goes the winner ...

Beetlebomb

I really think Woody Pit-Gate would get the most out of the ride, he's determined, dedicated & has a bunch of talent, not knocking Colby or any other of the canidates, just my opinion that Woody would a good job and be a real asset to the tour. I'd love to see TC wheel the thing in the southern races, he'd carve their eye's out, just blows me away that team has been out of victory lane for as long as they have, last time they won, Ol' TC had those southern boys covered.

Now THAT is some good news for change.

This kid deserves this ride. He's a hard working, charismatic, hard charging guy that will bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to a very active race team.

Congratulations to Woody Pitkat for getting the chance to chauffeur a very good ride in a division that he loves and is happy to be involved in a this level.

Congratulations to the Hills for selecting a guy that will get the job done on and off the track and have a genuine good time doing it.

There are a number of guys that would be good in that car but Woody is certainly a good choice and I wish them the very best of luck.

I've said all year last year, Pitkat needs to get himself into a Whelen Tour car, now it will happen. Good move for him.
