Asphalt Modified fans...mark your calendars NOW for saturday, July 7 as Mountain Speedway in St. Johns, Pennsylvania presents...The first leg of the BIG DOG Triple Crown Modified events. 75 laps of Ground Pounding, Awesome Asphalt racing for the Mighty, 600 HP Tour Type Modifieds.
See Modified Stars from all over the Northeast do battle on the lightning fast 1/3 mile oval. Double points will be on the line for the Mountain Modifieds.
Camping and tailgating will be allowed. A live band, give aways, and more!
Also scheduled for that evening will be Late Models and Street Stocks, plus a 30 lap double points Thriller event.
The 2nd leg will be Sunday, Sept. 2nd(75 laps), and the 3rd and final leg will be the King Of The Mountain weekend sat/sun, Sept. 29-30(150 laps)

There will be an open practice for Mods, Late Models, Street Stocks, and Thrillers on Friday, July 6 from 5pm-8pm. Pits open at 4 pm.
Free Grandstand Admission
Pit Admission will be $10 per person(no charge for car). age 12 and over to enter pits. Concessions will be open. Camping will be allowed(no open fires)

Grandstand Admission for Saturday, July 7:
$18 for adults
$15 for ages 7-12
$15 for seniors/handicapped
6 and under-free

The outside groove appeared to be in excellent condition as Brian Defebo utilized it to rocket from 15th to 1st in the 40 lap feature. Many cars looked strong on the outside...Zeiner, Walko, Whitenight, Strohl, Santee, Smith(until the wreck), and Defebo.
If the racing so far this season is any indication of what we can expect for the BIG DOG...It WILL be exciting from the drop of the green!
