This past weekend, Greg Narducci, a long time figure in the Modified Tour pit area (car owner, car chief, etc), was involved in an accident at Loudon.

Greg was taken to Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital in New Hampshire. He spent several days in ICU and was then moved to step-down ICU.

Our thoughts are with Greg and his wife Venetta.

Get well soon....Linda & Norm, Precision Automotive, Inc.

I just got off the phone with Venetta (2:45 Monday PM) and all the news is good news. Greg has been responding well and they are looking toward taking him out of ICU either tonight or tomorrow. Needless to say, it will be a slow healing process but everything is positive and he is doing well. Thank God, and keep him in your prayers. Get well soon Greg.

get well greg. Greg has a head injury due to a freak accident. Good News is they have already started discharge procedures, and should be released some time early next week. Providing his condition remains the same or better. :applause: WTG GREG!

Greg Narducci was released from the Hospital today (Friday). Greg will spend the next couple of days at a Hotel close to the Hospital to make sure he is going to do OK. They plan to be flying home to Florida on Sunday if all goes as scheduled. Greg still has a road ahead of him and will need to see Doctor's and do Therapy in Florida. Way To Go Greg!!!

Hello everyone......this is Venetta......We are one step closer to home.....

Last night we stayed at the hotel in Lebanon. Greg had a good night and is doing great. He is anxious to get home.

We leave for Florida tomorrow and he is already talking about going racing and playing golf. In fact, I caught him on the computer checking flights for Riverhead. I think I will have my hands full just trying to keep him down.

I wanted to personally thank everyone for all your thought and prayers. The power of prayer is an amazing thing. I am thankful for all the good friends we have in racing.

Once we get home, I'll post an update, but for now, it is all GOOD news.

Thanks again.

This is Venetta. I borrowed Bob's account to provide an update. Thank goodness he was smart enought to remember his password.

Greg and I made it home from NH on Sunday, July 15th. And boy, Is It Good To Be Home! Greg is doing really really good and happy to be in his own environment.

Although he misses his usual routine, he does not give me much of a hard time and has been taking it easy.

His tee times have been replaced with doctors visits, specialists visits, lab visits and home visits from PT, OT and Speech Therapy. Every visit is even more encourging. We went to the neurosurgon yesterday, and I am happy to tell you that he said "Greg will make a full recovery"! You can just imagine how happy we were to hear those words. It has been a long road and we still have a ways to go, but knowing everything will be ok is worth the battle. His neurosurgeon even gave him the "green light" to begin driving "short" distances, as long as I am in the car (lucky me). So far, so good. He drove yesterday for the first time.

Thanks again for all the thoughts and prayers, well wishes and cards! It is nice to know we have so many really wonderful friends in the racing community we love so much.

Hopefully, you will see us soon!

Thanks Howie for posting.

Yes we made the trip and had a good time. I was very tired when I got home but it sure was nice to be at the races. It was great to see everyone and thank people in person for all their thoughts and prayers.

Howie, thanks for the Chrome Horn Hat. It really kept the sun off my head. And I thought it was hot in Florida! That is one thing I forgot to bring.

Now it is back to therapies and doctors visits........ugh....I can't wait to get back to the races. See you all soon!

Thanks again for your continued thoughts and prayers!

P.S. Venetta said Hi!
