Great Racing at this 1/3 mile weird shaped speedway. Civali and Hirschman were side by side for about 6 laps, fighting for the lead. Stefanik started up front, and then spun by himself from 2nd, and then climbed back into the top 5 before his tires appeared to go away. TC, Lia, and Silk, along with the previously mentioned drivers put on a great display of racing. What a great weekend of Modified Racing.

I thought it was a great race....I may be biased as it is in my back yard. Great to see the board members there too....

A couple shots I took.....The Youngsters....lol

The story AND the finish are on the front page of The Chrome Horn.
Linda was at the race and posted what she knew.
NASCAR sends a pr and when that comes the info goes to the front page always.
Hope this helps you.

Awesome race. Thanks to the tour and Twin State Speedway for getting the modified feature done at 8:50.

If more tracks had the touring events completed before 9:00 p.m., I bet more fans would attend more races. Instead of hoping the tour you paid big bucks to see, is getting started before the curfew or before rain settled in.

You guys make me wish I was there.
Had to go to the nephew's graduation party.
Sounds like the good old days at the Park.
Nothing like side by side racing in a Modified

Rabbit.
Everything about the day was awesome, especially the feature. Its funny you mention the Park, because what I saw this weekend at Monadnock and Twin State was the best Short Track Modified racing I have seen since the Park closed. Civali and Hirschman were side by side 4 laps on one restart and then at least 6 laps the next restart. What a great race!!!!

I agree. Great show. TSS did a great job hosting this event. I think they accomplished what they needed to accomplish and made people WANT to go back. NASCAR purse issues aside I believe this event was more in line with what the Tour should be about. Racers show up, qualify through heat races and put on a good show in the feature event.

Good day all around.

Racing side by side builds respect.
I know James has a great deal of respect for the Hirshman's.
He may have gained some of his own Sunday.
They ran Hard and Clean.
And , although I wasn't there I gained respect for Matt and James.
Just hope these young guys enjoy their time in the spot light.
Because there's a defending champ in the mirror.

Stefanik Passed about 20 cars I'd say between spinning, and getting shuffled back on occaision. I thought he was gonna win it when he got back up to 5th with about 30 to go. The 16 was more than likely the fastest car out there Sunday night.
