WALL TOWNSHIP SPEEDWAY PRESENTS USG NIGHT, SAT. JULY 28TH
Wall drivers and cars appearing at the Monmouth County Fair July 26th, free givaways planned for fans.

Wall Twp., NJ - This Saturday, Wall Township Speedway will host their regular six divisions on USG Night. USG is a well known construction supply company and long time supporter of NASCAR auto racing, visit www.usg.com (http://www.usg.com) for more info on their products. The NASCAR Whelen All American Series Modifieds, Street Stocks, Sportsman, RMP Modified Affordable Division, INEX Legends, and Value Towing Factory Stocks are all scheduled to compete starting at 6:30PM with qualifying races. Regular prices will be in effect, only $17 dollars for an adult, $6 dollars for kids ages 6 to 12, and children 5 and under are always admitted free. Spectator gates open at 4PM.

Kevin Flockhart will be looking to build more momentum in the Modified division after winning the 50th Annual Garden State Classic 100 last week for a large purse, and taking home the bulk of $6,000 dollars in lap money, including the lap 66 $1,000 bonus in memory of the late Tom Comerford. Steven Reed, Chas Okerson, Tommy Farrell III, and the other Mod Drivers will be fighting to keep Flockhart from trying to win his fifth race of the 2007 season.

In the Street Stock Division, it looks like Rich Mongeau and Ron Frees, both former division champs, are trying to separate themselves from the rest of the field and decide the title between themselves. But, defending champion Bill Vanderveen, John McCormack and the other teams will not be willing to let them get away with many weeks left to make up valuable Championship points.

Sportsman point leader Kevin Eyres already has 5 wins this season, and has shown no signs of letting up on the competition. Defending Wall Track Champion Chas Okerson, third generation driver Charlie Kremer III, and Elliott Wohl are going to do their best to knock him off the top of the heap this Saturday night.

RMP Modified Affordable Division drivers will be trying to gain some ground on defending champ Danny Bohn and Kevin Eyres, before they get to far out of reach in the battle for that title. 4 time 2007 winner Robert Geibel and Kevin Davison are their closest rivals for the crown.

The INEX Legend cars also have a tight point battle going on with Mike Fulton and Ron Poley heading the pack thus far. Danny Roslin, Stephen Stull, and Mark Tischler are their closest competitors at this time of the season so far for the title of track champ.

In the popular Value Towing Factory Stocks, title contender Vern McLaughlin III will be looking for his third consecutive win, and 5th of the season. Nick Shaw, Danny Collamer, Richard Petey, and Joe Constandi will be trying their best to stop McLaughlin's hot streak.

Thursday, July 26th, many Wall Township Speedway competitors will have their cars on display at the Monmouth County Fair's "Motorsports Night" in Freehold, N.J from 5PM until 10PM. The Fair is located at East Freehold Park on Kozloski Road in Freehold. Wall will have their promotional vehicle there along with representatives from the track, and free givaways will be available for Wall fans and new fans alike. Come out and also see the NEXTEL Cup cars of Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s Bud #8, Ryan Newmans ALLTEL #12, Jeff Gordaon's Dupont #24, Kevin Harvick's Shell/Pennzoil #29, and 2006 NEXTEL Cup Champion Jimmy Johnson's Lowes #48. Drag racing cars from Raceway Park in Old Bridge, N.J. other New Jersey tracks will also be taking part in the event.

On August 4th, NASCAR stars Ray Evernham, Kasey Kahne, Elliott Sadler, Erin Crocker and Bill Elliott will be Racing for a Reason at Wall Township Speedway in New Jersey. This short track night of action will feature the stars in an RMP Modified Affordable Division 20 lap race giving Evernham a chance to return to his roots in the driver seat at his hometown track. Ray Evernham will also compete in the Modified Division's 40 lap feature driving Jimmy Blewett's Statusgreen No. 66. Wall Township Speedway will donate a portion of the night’s proceeds to Evernham’s foundation, Racing for a Reason. The Whelen All American Modifieds, Street Stocks, INEX Legends, Value Towing Factory Stocks, and TQ's will also be in competition.
