With all the talk about oldtimers day, it got me thinking about how great the racing was "back in the day." Sometimes it seems like there's nobody left to run with anymore...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lkoz4mX3k00

Glad you enjoyed it random. But the #8 wasn't Jim or Cliff! It was Alex Scibelli! And the black, unnumbered (7$), Pinto was another Scibelli car driven by the late great Al DeAngelo!

:applause: I never cared much for the museum or watching the restored cars cruise around the track. But I must admit those are some pretty cool videos. (those who didn't see the other one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vWxlwZ2rsWk)

Ah yes, the Scibelli brothers! Jim had a copper Capri. I couldn't place a couple due to the fact there were no numbers.

That old stuff is pretty cool. That second video even has some of my father in it; real cool, a lot of memories growing up there.

Who said old timers cars were not around anymore. Was that white/tan #8 not a Pinto?? Don't the Mods. now still run front Pinto Suspension parts?? It seems to me the only change is the bodies!! I dont run mods. myself but I do race a 1978 Ford Pinto in the 4cyl stocks over at Bridgeport Speedway in New Jersey.
