WALL TWP., N.J. -- Mike Carpenter captured his second NASCAR Whelen All-American Series modified feature victory of the year - and the 25th of his career - on Wall Township Speedway USG Sheetrock Night Saturday. Carpenter, of Farmingdale, came from sixth starting spot to take the feature's lead by lap seven. The Weathervane Service-Four Star Builders Troyer Dodge Charger-GM No. 77 driver went on to a .219 sec. victory over Chas Okerson after 40 laps. Tom Farrell, last week's winner Steve Reed and Shaun Carrig completed the top five finishers.

Mike Tidaback, of Little Falls, ousted leader Matt Janisch on the last turn to win his first Keenan Motors American Three Quarter Midget Racing Association feature of the year. Chris Deritis, of Philadelphia, finished sixth in the 25-lap headliner to take the WTS TQ track title. Janisch was disqualified for having too wide a rear track, elevating Tim Buckwalter, Ryan Tidman, Tim Behmer and Bob Watkins, Jr., into the top five.

Kevin Davidson, of Freehold, won his first career RMP Modified Affordable Division feature by ousting Robert Sutphin on lap 13 restart and keeping his RTE Transmissions No. 48 Troyer-Chevrolet ahead of Robert Geibel, Jr. by .905 sec. after 25 laps.

Value Towing Factory Stock baron Felix Ciattarelli, of Raritan, split the class' twin eight-lap heats with Joe Constandi and went on to win his first 20-lap feature of the year over his quasi-teammate by .277 sec.

Former street stock champion Rich Mongeau, of Manchester, won his career 34th feature by splitting his heats with John McCormack and repelling him by .631 sec. after the headliner's 25 laps.

Stephen Stull won his latest INEX Legends Cars feature by keeping his No. 88 600 Racing-Yamaha ahead of Bruce Roslin by .091 sec. after 25 laps. Mike Alcaro and Francis Cottrell split the heats.

The sportsman division returns with a 50-lap feature to WTS and join the Modifieds, Street Stocks, INEX Legends, and Value Towing Factory Stocks 6:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Labor Day weekends events continues with the Wall Calabreeze Pools Legends/Van Wickle NAPA Bandoleros Sunday Series noon Sept. 2.
