Indeed it's true.

We at LongIslandJam.com are proud to announce that Tracy Chirico is taking over as Managing Editor for the Jam.

Tracy's a longtime Riverhead supporter, with much experience behind the wrench of a Blunderbust and most recently a Super Pro Truck. Heck, she even drove a Blunderbust a few years back.

Tracy will be taking over the many day-to-day duties I have, and so far she's be a quick learn.

Thank you Tracy for taking over my spot, and we at the Jam are looking forward to having her on board.

Congrats to you Tracy !!! A large job to fill. We know you can and will do it beautifully. Can't wait to see you in the pits with the "official" shirt on.
Stop by and say 'hi'.
Ask WJ where we are, he'll point you in the right direction.

Tracy who?

Just kidding. So glad to have her on board. Now no one make fun of her LI Jam T-shirt, it's gonna be a bit larger on her, because it came from me. Tracy is definitely a welcome addition to the staff here at the Jam, and I look forward to working with her, and helping her get settled into a job formerly held by a man with a beard!

I want to send a big thank you out to everyone for their kind and encouraging words. Yes, I am taking on the responsibilities of Managing Editor in light of JA's big move. Congratulations again, my friend...I always figured you were destined for great things!

As Managing Editor, I will be - as JA stated - taking over many of his day-to-day responsibilities. For the most part, this will entail posting news stories and results, updating profiles and other things of that nature. I am still in training mode (as JA puts it), so I just hope that you can all bear with me as I settle in. So far, I've only messed the site up once, and thankfully I did it around midnight and JA and RGee were able to get it fixed by mid-morning the next day. JA has put together a talented staff, and I look forward to working with each of you. Hopefully, each of you will be on the receiving end of few - if any - frantic phone calls or emails begging for assistance in fixing things.

I have been around the track for quite some time, and I do have some experience in a number of divisions. I have been on crews in the Charger, Modified, Blunderbust and Super Pro Truck divisions. I also do have some experience driving in Enduros (I really wouldn't count my BB driving experience, as that was actually only practice...even though Chris told a select group of other drivers to "bump" me while I was out there so I'd get a feel for what it was like to really race). I will continue to handle Blunderbust Rookie of the Year points this season, as that is another project that I volunteered to assist with, for the good of the drivers and the fans. I expect that my love of racing will help me to meet the standards that JA has upheld for the site for so long.

I do realize that JA is leaving behind some big shoes to fill...have you ever SEEN the size of his feet?!? Seriously, I look forward to working with the staff, the racers and the fans to keep this site at or above JA's expectations, as he knows how to get a hold of me if there is something he's unhappy about!

Here's to an adventure...

LOL, the shirt was washed TWICE, and unfortunately for her, it didn't shrink, LOL.

Better still, Rgee donated one of his NEW ones, and it's an XL!!!

But they are 100% cotton, so after washing, it should form fit her, LOL!!!!

I've already washed it twice, boys, and I think I could still invite company inside! Glad to be officially "in uniform," though! Thanks to both of you!

And W.J., just for the record, BOTH shirts in question are XL. I don't know which is proving to be harder to fill, JA's shoes or his staff's shirts!

HAHHAHA Well you could wash mine 4 or 5 times and it would still be a 2 xl! Plenty of room for WJ , RGee and Tracy but still only enough room for me.. ask Dennis....

HO HO HO,
