I had a chance to meet Jim Storace at Oswego. A great guy to be sure. He
had an incredible race especially for a guy who's only been there once before.
Was running second right on Wilber Hebings behind in the later part of the race and had mirror full of Earl Paules when Earl made contact with him past
the S/F line. Earl looped and hit the wall and Jim continued on but pitted the next lap with a dead motor. The crew discovered a broken dist shaft (of all
things) ending his day. Classy guy too as he looked me up personally after
the races were over to thank me for helping him earlier unload his trailer before most of his crew got there. Guys like Jim are one of the reasons I like
racing so much. He told me he was going to Lancaster for the US Open this weekend. WMT's loss, ROC's gain.:applause:
