Nice to see someone trying to save a worthwhile racetrack that NASCAR has thrown in the trash heap. A simple repaving, addition of some seats, and you have better place to race than some of what they use now. In their infinite wisdom, wanna bet they won't give Hillenburg any consideration of a Cup date if he fixes it up?

I don't think Andy is working towards a Cup race. I don't think NASCAR would consider a race at the Rock because its not in the markets they want to be in.

It will most likely get an ARCA date, and maybe a Busch East date. What would really be cool is a Whelen Southern Modified Tour date, as that would be their NHIS of the south.

I do not foresee the facility even getting a Busch and Truck race.

But hey, I'm just speculating.;)
