He would be the guy to beat, based on his Rivehead record for 2007, but you never know who might guess at the right Mountain set-up!!!

I know of about 5 trucks.

10-14-2007, 09:30 PM
Which ones you're hearing Matt?

10-14-2007, 10:29 PM
At this point I don't think we are going! Unless some sponsors pop up.Hint Hint

Come on people, someone get that 41 a sponsor for the race or maybe a bunch of people all chip in and make it like a wedding present to my man Wayne so he can make the trip. I'm sure if he didn't have to pay for his whole wedding, he would be going. To start this up, I think he needs like a $1000 to cover all expenses. I'll throw up the first $100, now 9 more people help out and he will probobly go. I'm sure he will get everyone's name on the truck, too. Now come on people, let's get him to Mountain. Chris Turbush

I have heard that all 3 Dumicich trucks are going, the 32 of Matt Odwazney, and the 38 of Grennan. I also have heard of a few trucks going to run Lee that day as well.

10-15-2007, 11:51 AM
The 2x truck will be going along with the 38 as well.

Do you or Mike know what the schedule will be? Didn't see it posted. Nice to be sleeping as late as possible this weekend since I'm local, unlike the rest of the guys coming from LI. TIA

Great, Wayne, we'll be happy to see you there. :)
It should be a great race, there's plenty of room to pass on that track.

10-17-2007, 10:23 AM
The more, the merrier...
So glad to have another truck joining us, Wayne....
I have also heard (unconfirmed) rumor that the #66 of Mike Albasini may make the trip as well. Can anyone confirm or deny it?

As of this past Saturday,
The "King of Queens" WILL be there.:)

I hear Dave Koening is going to Lee. I'm not positive though.

10-17-2007, 10:08 PM
I spoke with Dave at the last race at Riverhead, and he told me at that time that he was planning to make the trip to Lee.

10-17-2007, 11:20 PM
Dave is running at Lee this weekend

10-18-2007, 10:16 PM
It will be very interesting to hear what changes some make to their trucks.

10-19-2007, 09:10 PM
It shouldn't be anything other than gears. You have to follow Riverhead rules.

10-20-2007, 05:49 AM
I hope I don't see anyone putting a sprint wing on their truck, LOL:lol:

10-22-2007, 11:57 AM
Hey Wayne, figured you were going. What happened?

10-22-2007, 03:55 PM
Thursday night, boss said I had to work on Saturday.

10-23-2007, 10:20 AM
That's too bad. ;) I pm'd you.

Anyone know how Dave did at Lee?

10-23-2007, 11:25 AM
I haven't spoken to Dave himself, but I heard that he had some carburetor and other issues, but managed to finish 11th.

10-24-2007, 11:02 AM
Yeah, he also got a flat during the race and came back for a decent finish, I believe about 30 trucks started the race. Way to keep that truck clean, Dave!!!
