Tires & Point fund money?

I sponsor a driver and he told me his check from this year is not what he was expecting. I thought that money from buying tires went to the drivers in the top ten? I know he generally uses the check to pay Oval Speed, but the amount he got wouldn't buy tires. Anybody else have an opinion?

It used to be 5 dollars a tire bought went to the point fund. I guess not this year.

From what I have been able to dig up, the point fund monies are missing in action :( sad....it's 3rd party info, but it might have been what happened.

Read what Bob Finan says in the "eye". The Cromaty's put up $30,600 out of their own pockets. Must mean something's up, no mention of Hoosier tire or JYD.
