When the Legends run, does the track soften the wall?

They never did in the past. These cars can take a more of a hit than you may think.

One problem with small, lighter weight race cars is...they tend to get airborne.

Ummm how do safe walls prevent that??? Check out the avatar of one our board members from the charger class! Freak accidents happen, thank God the flag man was able to move!

Hey, I took a modified out of the ballpark at Wall about 5 years ago. Anything can happen in any type of racecar.

Open wheels
TQ's, NEMA, ARDC, Mods of all kinds, sprints, asphalt, dirt.
It's racing, don't pinch pennies on safety gear.
We all know it when we strap in.

Are we going to run with the Riverhead side nerf bar?

I hope so, I really liked the idea of the Riverhead nerf bar, I thought they were safer, since these are open wheel cars. It was required one season, but then we had to remove them. I think it was because they weren't INEX approved?.
