In other notes, good showing by Ken Matlach in the #34, finishing 5th.

In the Factory Stock feature, NEETS regular Howie Bott had a great 3rd place finish, and 2007 NEETS 6/8 cylinder and TRUX champion Richard Petey came from 23rd place starting spot to finish 10th. John Cozza started 15th in the #59 and was moving through the pack before spinning on lap 9. He pulled the car to the infield until the next caution, when he was able to make repairs and return to the track. Cozza continued to run strong after the caution, but was already several laps down. He would end up 23rd.

The last 25 laps #36 Dave Sapienza was the faster tour type mod. Too bad the 93 decided to try and jump him on a restart (Because no way was he passing him otherwise) ruining his day.

He way have finished 3rd or even 2nd if he had finished the race.


Great job by Ken Darsh and crew after he hit the wall during time trials.

Someone had mentioned that Dave had run out of fuel and bogged down when Rowan and Dave came together. Not sure, but will be seeing Dave tomorrow and find out the whole deal. Either way, awesome run by SAP.

That would explain it, as he dropped out shortly after that and it did not look like he had any damage.
