Enduro Meeting

Ok Guys and Gals,

Since it looks like a few of the other divisions are getting together and having meetings...would anyone in the Enduro divisions want to do the same.
Let me know. We could schedule something and have it at the shop.

For sure, let's do it. Enduros don't seem to suffer from the same complications that weekly divisions do. The grand drivers show each other respect, something that is lacking on Saturday nights. Hey Cin, since there was no party @ Constant this year, a divisional meeting is a perfect reason to get everybody together.:applause: Thanks.

Well, we can have a meeting and then party....how's that. Get the word out and let me know what everyone wants to do and when.
I'll just let you know this....we're not going to bash Riverhead. Just want to get some ideas of what everyone thinks and what we can do to help make it better.

I think inviting Mike would be a very good idea, he is quite the nice guy and I believe he is working with us (letting Grands attend Saturday shows for practice ) and would like to see this division move forward, even from where it is now. Thanks for the help Cindy!

Getting together is a great idea. Just wondering though, what really needs to be discussed?
This past year was a huge success. Points were awarded to enduro drivers and there was no complaints that I know of in the Grand Division. Cars alway came home clean and the racing was awesome.
I would like to see some Saturday night shows, but there has been no mention of that happening.
Either way getting together will be worth it!
One more thing.....is the crate motor rule and its specifications still in effect for the upcoming season. Mike & Jim didn't even know there was a motor rule for the Grands until the end of the season.:confused::confused:

My idea for the get together is not only for the Grands, but for all enduro divisions. We can come up with some things that might help each division: discussing ways to make it more affordable again, how to get more cars, how can we attract those from out of town (a lot of you go across the bridge to race other tracks, let's see if we can get them to come this way). Just some different ideas to maybe present to the powers that be to help racing at Riverhead.
But, I need help with getting in touch with others. So, get the word out.

The weekend before Christmas is not very good for me...have to play Mama Claus...So, either the 14th or the Friday after the new year. Let me know soon. That way I can put everything in place and even let Mike know. I would want to know by Dec 5th which is better.

The 14th sounds like a plan. Personally I have talked to a few drivers in the grand enduro and a few of us would like to see our races get back to the 75 lap range. The 50 lap races are taking about 15-20 minutes to complete and we generally have a spin or two! Very clean racing and it is over very fast. Not often that there is a wreck in our races, so I believe that we possibly deserve a few more laps. On the other side, everyone is putting a lot of time and effort into their ride and I don't think anyone would be opposed to this.

Anybody have any objections to more laps?
