We will be utilizing the one way scanner system beginning with the March 15 Enduro event. It will not be Mandatory until the 2009 season, however, we strongly suggest that all competitors have a one way scanner to monitor the race director, for all 2008 Mountain Madness events.
This will be to notify you of a red flag situation on the track, or in the event of a dangerous situation with your particular vehicle.
This should help with some of the chaos, when the red flag comes out.
Speedway Communications will be putting together an inexpensive one way scanner and earpiece package, for those who need to purchase one. Just be sure that any scanner that you plan to use can receive the track frequency at 154.600.

I like this idea !!!!!! It's about time, but remember these are enduro's, part of doing well in these is paying attention!!!!!!!!!! using your brains, not just your gas pedal.......... Thats why they are called ENDURO'S and the object is to ENDURE !!!!!!!!

Its about time the drivers get to use their radios...........................:applause:
Because your electronic systems must be in communication with Uranus or some planet outta the inter-stellar loop (no alien return signal), hehe................
Congratulations go out to "radar Odwa(z)ny" for finally getting the "signal"................:D
