Past Champions Page

During the off-season I’ll be working on a page for the site that will feature past champions from all regular divisions at Mountain/Evergreen. I’d like to start off with ’07 champs and work backwards to at least '88 from there.

Anyhow, if anyone has a photo of a past champ (I have quite a few from ’03-’07) that you would like to share, please scan it and email it to gjtost@verizon.net. Please be sure to include a photo credit.

If you don't have a scanner, send me an email for my address and you can mail it to me. Once scanned, all mailed photos will be returned.

he geno, i am trying to get a picture or 2 of Gerry Rousheys # 35 street stock
the car was bought by my uncle in 1988 who is gerry Rousheys cousin, and believe it or not it was the first street stock # 35 camaro Jerry Hildebrand :wave: drove!

I may have a picture of that car from the Street Stock Nationals at Pocono in 1981. That car was built by Gerry and Mountaintop's Jack Weigand just to race at Pocono that year. Gerry didn't quailify in his heat but started 21st in the consi and won it. He started the race back around 52nd and passed 14 cars in 3 laps until the water pump belt fell off. I'll have to search my old photos for it.

I have some of Roger Heffelfinger Jr. after all back in the day he was my fav...and well..if I pull out my program collection, it goes back pretty far, I know they contain several pictures. I know I have a box around my house that has some old racing photos that go back to 1988... :-) When I find time outside of personal life and NELMA, I will dig out the box and see what I can get you.

John, I only found one picture of Gerry's #35 at Pocono. It was taken from a distance from the old infield grandstands. It shows the car pitted with Tom Pettit, Harry Ahouse (Gerry's old Nova) and Dean Kline. If you want it I can get it scanned on Monday and send it to you. I just need your email.
