RICH KUIKEN JR WINS SPONSORSHIP CONTEST WORTH $5,000

LANGHORNE, PA January 24, 2008 . . . NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour racer Rich Kuiken Jr. is a happy young man. His entry in the Chad Sinon Motorsports/Joe Bertothy sponsorship contest took first place and earned him $4,000 in cash along with more than $1,000 in awards.

The Staffordville, NJ racer will carry the Sinon/BPG Racing and Joe Bertothy logos on his race vehicles.

The Kuiken entry won out over more than 170 entries with some coming from as far away as California.

“We had some fantastic entries. A lot of hard work went into many of the sponsorship proposals that were entered in the contest,” said contest organizer Ernie Saxton, publisher of Motorsports Sponsorship Marketing News. “Kuiken’s entry had it all. The offer, the demographics, the media coverage and much more was all presented in a very attractive package. It was one of the best we have seen on this level.”

Kuiken Jr. will race the full NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour along with the huge North-South Shootout in Concord, NC late in the season. If finances will allow the team will also run some of the NASCAR Northern and ASA Southern Modified races.

“It was an honor to win the contest.” said young Kuiken. “Considering there were more than 170 entries it is quite an accomplishment to be the winner. It goes without saying that we will put the money and the awards to good use.”

In addition to the $4,000 cash Kuiken will receive more than $200 worth of Hero Cards courtesy of Chris Budihas’ Racerboy Marketing, a $200 custom helmet paint job by Brian Hirthler’s Four Star Lettering, a website creation from Jay Dugan’s Radical Design valued at more than $500 along with an Ernie Saxton Sponsorship and Consulting package valued at more than $500.

Saxton, along with Sinon, is now considering the possibility of offering another sponsorship contest near the middle of the season.
