Does anyone know if Wayne Anderson is coming back? It seemed at year's end, he felt he was headed towards retirement and stepping away from the Mod. I for one hope not and do not want to spread rumors, but has anyone heard if he was a shoe in this year to be full time?

Yes, in a Modified Tour race, that's okay. But on a regualr Saturday night at Riverhead, no one can run that number or register it. Dave knows that, I discussed it with him last season when he brought the car out to the track for a test.
As an aside, no one can run the #61 on the WMT for the same reason.

Fortin is a good driver.but i dont think he will do it this year.he has a new car for what i hear.and that might take a couple of weeks to get it dialed in.Fortin is a great driver.but not this year.better chance in 2009.THIS IS THE YEAR JR WINS EVREYTHING.

John Fortin came out of the box pretty well last time he had a new ride! He knows how to set up the car, don't think it will take that long! He might even have all the bugs worked out by opening night!

ill be shockedto if jr is not suspended at least once this year.but i still feel that he will win it anyway.the guy has no fear.he puts on a great show.not that the other mods don't because we have the best mod drivers on the east cost.but you never know what jr is going to do.and yes fortin can win it i never said he couldent.but i just dont see it for him this year.and for chuck#11x.i love the guy.great driver.so yes to all my mod loven friends.this is the year jr wins it new car or old.to all mod drivers no matter who wins the championship for 2008.you guys are the best and you put on a hell of a show.good luck to all.cant wait till may 3.

Im sure JR will win it this year hes got his head on straight. He is a very talented driver.Does any one remember when he was suspened for 2 races and still won the champ???? Go get um JR!!!!!!!:applause::applause:
