If you venture into NYC for the St. Patricks Day Parade, Riverhead Raceway's own Bob Finan tends bar at the "Fighting 69th Armory" on Lexington Ave at 25th and 26th St. Bob is downstairs in the Veteran's Room, and for $10, you get two drink tickets and a corned beef and cabbage meal. Now the drink tickets work as follows: 1drink ticket for a beer, wine or soda, 2 drink tickets for a mixed drink or shot. They don't let BF handle cash!!!
This is a very historic landmark in New York City, so if you're in there, stop by and say hello. BF has been doing this for his father for nearly 15 years now. If you stay on the Island, by all means go see Groundswell from 7:00 pm 'til 10:00pm, as the Halpin family will make you feel like your back in the "Old Country".
