Just found out that Blunderbust #32 driver "Krazy" Eddie Mistretta will be undergoing some surgery this coming Tuesday. He will be unable to talk for a week, with only limited ability for another week after that. Eddie is not "in the computer age," so to speak, but feel free to post your wishes here, and I will make sure that they get to him!

Eddie, from me to you...you better listen to the doctors and have a speedy recovery (trust me, I know you're not always the best listener or the best patient)! Racing season is coming up fast, buddy!

Chris, I have not heard anything yet. It was supposed to be an outpatient thing, so he should be resting up at home. However, since he is not allowed to talk AT ALL for at least a week, it isn't like I can call him and ask how he's doing. Once I know something, I will post it here.

Hmmm, can't talk for a week? :p Do you suppose he had his tonsils out?

I am happy to report that I just got word that Eddie is at home and he is resting as ordered. While he is a bit uncomfortable, he is doing okay. I probably won't have much more to report until at least next week, when he should have a very limited ability to talk. He does appreciate everyone's concern.

Just as an update...I spoke with Eddie very briefly this evening. He still has very little voice, so the conversation was pretty short. He seems to be doing well, and wanted to thank everyone for their support and well-wishes here on the forum (I printed them and sent them to him).

Just got off the phone with Eddie. He had a follow-up with his doctor today, and he is recovering well from his surgery. His voice is still not quite completely back, but I'm sure it will be shortly. He's definitely looking forward to getting back to racing!
