Do you guys think our division will still be able to run on the Comanche? I've been told the new Hoosier is a harder compound and more expensive.

Yea Terry, I got some conflicted stories. I was being sarcastic, but now I guess from what I hear, RR is now selling 790's instead of Comanches which works for me. Last year they were about $30 cheaper at Mountain. I may be heading up that way in April, should I make a shopping list?...lol.

If you guys read the whole press release, you must but tires 'approved' by Riverhead Raceway, as in stenciled or identified in some way as being purchased there. That part hasn't changed from the past, so buying them elsewhere because they are less expensive will not do you any good. The copy from the press release is below.

Only tires purchased through TS Haulers will be permitted in competition at Riverhead Raceway in 2008, a verification process will be in place to enforce that policy.

mountain speedway 790s are 95 bucks Riverheads are 105 so not a HUGE difference....

$10 not a HUGE difference, your right....but if the price went down $10 this would be a whole difference post and cell phones wouldnt be ringing off the hook. It is what it is.
W.J., your right about that. They do have a way of checking.

Hopefully they'll let you use your tires that where on the car from last year because I sure as sh*t can't afford to purchase 4 new tires all at once.
