Just saw this in Stock Car Gazette:

Lia helps raise awareness about Autism: Donny Lia's #71 Chevy will carry the colors of Autism Speaks starting at Martinsville Speedway. Lia has a close connection to a child suffering from the incurable disorder. "The Car Chief on my modified has a son who is autistic," explained Lia. "When we were looking at running at Martinsville without a primary sponsor, we decided that it would be better to offer the space to Autism Speaks to help get the word out about Autism and the need for a cure."(TRG Motorsports PR)(3-26-2008)

Lia pulled off an incredible move to avoid the wrecking Kyle Busch and Johnny Benson in turn 4. Lia just went high, hit the turn 4 wall, and gone on to his first Truck top 10 with a 9th. Congrats!

What a day for Lia, tons of TV coverage for a great cause. It's also great that the Fox NASCAR team are on board for the fight against autism and to help families who deal with such a horrible issue.

yeah its pretty cool to have a local guy racing in the craftsman trucks. in the previous years , i never cared who won the truck race. but i must admit i did find myself rooting for donny a few times yesterday. question; i heard donnys team built that truck, did a local guy build the motor?
