Minimum 50 points in a Riverhead Raceway rollover, as I counted at least 10 (could be more) rolls. Good thing they're locked in and have a backup car. But mostly, thank God he was okay.

Is that what Jeff Burton meant last week when he said "that kid in the 00 better learn some manners or someone will teach him" Hard wreck and I am sure glad he is OK

Just talked to my friends in that turn and they said it was the loudest and hardest hit they had EVER heard out there in 10 years. That happened about 100 yards from our spot.
Kenny Brack had a bad one out there serveral years ago in an Indy car over in turn 3, but I think this one tops it!

Very glad to see him McDowell walk away from this one :applause:

It's amazing, when you watch Kenny Brack, you notice the cockpit! It's crazy how thoses cars can just fall to 1,000 pieces in an accident, but the cockpit remains intact. It never fails to amaze me when you see something like that! You wonder why, besides $$$ why guys would move over to NASCAR, that just shows you they savor life.

Many drivers have said they moved to NASCAR because they felt that sooner or later they would get hurt in Indycar. That includes Robby Gordon and Ryan Newman (who was on an open-wheeled path).

I say, Hoorah for COT and the Safer barriers. Let's not forget Lajoie's seat and all the rest of the safety equipment. And most likely, his mother's prayers.

He was better suited for being part of the Doobie Brothers or doing his solo work in music anyway..... Oh, that's McDonald. :D
