I know it's not LIVE updates during the race But, You might find out some helpful info on setups and handling issues... The Carey and Coffey show will be doing a pre race show live from Thompson starting @ 10 am... A lot of guests stopping in... Chuck Hossfeld , Eddie Flemke Jr , and Mike Stefanik. . If you are not in the Danbury area and you don't get 940/1510 ESPN Radio. You can check us out online @ www.careyandcoffey.com .. We will be online from 10-12 live for prerace coverage of the Ice Breaker 150... Plus Coffey will ask one of these drivers a really stupid question. Like he always does. And Carey will mess up the name of the race 12 times during the show like he always does... CYA Sunday...

It’s like we say... “Winter is really over when the Mods take the green"

Morning to all.........I'm sooooooooo ready to be a part of the first Whelen Modified Tour Race of the 2008 season. I would be remiss if I (Snow White!) didn't take the time, while there is time, to thank my seven dwarfs for their efforts in bringing this race to those who can't be there:

Richie - the boss
J.A. - my cell phone buddy from the track
Howie - photog with pictures for the gallery
Mary - photog married to Howie
Fran - photog and friend of many
TBax - Hampton Jitney carrier of fans to the track (and also 1/3 of the
Touched Trio
Axel - Also 1/3 of the Touched Trio who will, as the race starts, perhaps
chime in with his own brand of wit!
Forgot: Christina - Photographer for TCH

A special note for Lou - we're cheering on the lady Huskies in blue........

A safe race to all...........look for us around 3ish...........Linda

Just received a call from J.A. at the track:

Skies are gray, it's definately a chilly day.

Features run so far:

Mini Stocks
Limited Sportsman
Thompson Modifieds

Nema Midgets are on the track now

Next features are:

Pro Stocks
Late Models
Sunoco Modifieds

Whelen Modified Tour :applause:

J.A. plans to call me:

1. When the cars are going out on the track
2. When the green flag waves
3. Every 10 laps or
4. When a caution is out

We'll do our best to get you the info I know you'd like to have.
Just a note on cautions: hopefully they will be few and far between.......that being said, I'll try to list cars involved and get a report to all as to how drivers are.

Be back around 3:00.......maybe sooner..........Linda and J.A.

Caution on Lap 23 - the 00 (Santos) spun and collected approx. half the field.

On the 2nd restart, after cars were towed or pitted, the #79 (Silk) was penalized for jumping the restart for the 2nd time and was given a drive-thru penalty.

Also crunched on the Lap 23 caution was the #74 (Bertuccio). It appears they are trying to make repairs to get back on the track.

I shall, once again, as things have changed up front attempt the Top 10...back in 2...........
