Well, no one accused anyone of being wrong, I was just adding the fact that Jim Tyler ALSO raced the #08 (Gold Capri, Red Number), and here's the proof.

I guess putting in the 0 in bold was just a typo. Nothing like correcting someone is there WJ?

It wasn't a correction, it was to distinguish it from his being listed as the #8, since he also ran the #08. I never said he didn't run the #8.
To clarify this, when Jim started running Islip regularly, Ed Brunnhoelzl Sr. was running there in his #8x, so I guess Jim decided rather than change his number, he put a 0 in front of it.
