I remember his flight, it was my tire he used for lift off, I broke an axle. He almost landed on me to finish it off.

To clarify, Johnny Bush for quite a while now has used #68. He only registered at Freeport for one year that I know of, 1977, as the number 06. Not sure why, as no one was registered as #68 or #69 that year.

I haven't seen Johnny since he ran his coupe into turn 1 with a stuck throttle at Riverhead, or was it at Islip, getting old sucks. I used to see him a couple of times a week we we had a brief friendship. Do you happen to recall what number his mother ran in Freeport? He was quite proud of her achievements.
