in the stock 8cly enduro if you finish out of the top 10 there is no way to find out what place you finished in?? I talked to someone at the track office and they told me i dident finish in the money in the first race but i already knew that i just wanted to know what place i finshed in and they dont have that info??? Has it always been like that? :help:

Yes, that's pretty much the way it has always been. It is a time-consuming process for the officials to go through the scorecards as it is (you have to keep in mind that there are 6 separate Enduros, on top of whatever other divisions are running that day). Some scorers throw out the scorecards, some take them with them...the officials do their best to determine the top finishers, as there are usual several cars on the same lap, even when they are a number of laps down. Anyone else who raced is credited with an 11th place finish, as they all receive the same points.

Not trying to knock anybody on your side of the "curtain" but transponders would cure all RH scoring problems....................
The AMB scoring/transponder system properly operated can give you a lap by lap rundown, fastest lap, and final finishing order, etc...............:applause:
The AMB website stores all this information for many years and can be accessed with any personal computer on the net, anytime..................
Most tracks, using this type of scoring, are making the driver/car bring their own transponders....................:help:
Riverhead is the only track that I run that doesn't have a transponder system...................
It also cuts down on scoring errors and creative counting..................:disgusted

Hey Mr. Petey, as much as Riverheads Grands have evolved into a really nice division along with the enduro trucks it still lacks in the scoring area. I'm sure everybody from eleventh back thinks it sucks not knowing were the were at the finish. In another post you said your set up was too loose but I was behind you a little while and it seemed you had a bad push, always climbing up to the wall??? or where you just looking for that lost contact lense!!!!!!!!!!!

It does suck not to know what place u finish in if you dont make the top ten and i think the people that dont deserve to know how they did.

There is a couple of things I didn't mention about the transponders................:(
Besides the obvious electronic errors, you don't physically need a body to count which sometimes hurts attendance......................:help:
Hey Anthony!! It might have looked like a push from behind but believe me I was so loose out I had to chase it to the wall or lose more momentum ..................
Your right about the Grand Enduros, its a really competitive series..............:applause:
Hopefully, I can get my act together and run a little better next time..............

Ruh roh...
I didn't realize you had the Enduro points...didn't even think to ask when I was up there getting the other info from you. We'll have to figure out a way for me to get them from you. Shoot me a PM and we'll see what we can do.

It is great to know you can actually find out where you officially finish, great stuff.
Just a thought, but if we were able to get the total finishing order, points should stretch the whole way back to last. Why should a guy who's 20th, get the same points as one who comes in 11th?

I stayed up late last night entering finishes for the Grands, 4/6 cylinder trucks, and 6 cylinder cars. I hope to get to the rest of the results during the week, so that everyone's point totals will be correct. I may have to enlist JA's assistance, as I have a very busy week ahead, but I AM trying to get to it before the next race!

All points have been updated and should be correct.

Good luck to everyone this weekend!
