May 31 Riverhead Races - CANCELLED

Tracy Chirico has sent word in that today's races are officially rained out.

The Charger and Modified double point races will be run next week.

Next week's double point Late Model and Figure 8 races will be moved to June 14.

The Truck Enduro will run next week.

JA just wondering, does that mean the LM's and Fig 8's aren't running next week or are they just running a regular distance event?

Why doesn't Riverhead Have Sunday rain dates ?

The Late Models and Figure 8s will run their normal distances next week.

Riverhead has published rain dates for Sunday and a few other special shows. I remember a couple of years ago rain dates were discussed and the drivers overwhelming turned them down. Not everybody can make a Sunday or weekday show due to work, family, and other commitments.

I believe the track runs karts on Sunday's anyhow.. Thats thier day to race..
