After another race program was lost to rain, Lee USA Speedway, Rte 125, Lee, NH., is gearing up for this weeks NASCAR Whelen All-American Series sanctioned event. The Friday night program will feature the popular

One Stop Toy Shop Late Models, Prime Storage Late Model Sportsman, Planet Aid Hobby Stocks, Mac Tools Supermodifieds, American Auto Ironman, and Roadrunner divisions.

The June 13 date will also feature the touring N.E. England Legends Series and the 3rd annual Lloyd Chapin Memorial Roadrunner Race. The program will be presented by Great Rate Container Services LLC, Brentwood , N.H.

Despite being hampered by bad weather this spring, the point’s battles are starting top heat up in all divisions. Miles Chipman, Epping, NH., takes a seven point lead over defending champion J.R. Baril, Haverhill, MA., into Friday nights Late Model competition. Veteran Charlie Rousseau, Ipswich , MA. , Bryan Kruczek, Newmarket , NH. , and Wayne Helliwell, JR, Dracut, MA., make up the top five.

Jimmy Renfrew, Hooksett , NH. , and Grant Aither, Exeter , NH shares the lead in the Late Model Sportsman division with former champion Boe Green only two points behind.

Helliwell Jr, and Bobby Melvin, Groton , MA are hot on the trail of Green.

Lebanon , ME. , driver Wade Worster holds a slim lead over Eric Hoffman, Newmarket , and Geoff Rollins, Groton . while Ricky Porter, Epping, and Eddie Witkum.JR., share the top spot in the Roadrunners and supermodifieds respectively.
