Fran and I made the trip to Devil's Bowl Speedway in Vermont yesterday. What a neat place. A nice trip through the countryside, nice well kept facility in picturesque surroundings, a fun family night (Every kid in the grandstands got to ride a few laps around the track in a race car) and some great racing.

Big fan of dirt modifieds too. Glad you guys took in the race. Dirt mods are a lot of fun-- they are uglier than asphalt mods, but just as cool.

Its OK you wandered over to the other side Howie!!!

My guess is I hit almost 50% of my yearly races at dirt tracks, we ventured up to Accord last week. Its a lot smaller than Devils Bowl but almost as well kept.

The shot of the cars going down the backstrech with all that green mowed grass in the infield and no wall looks cool.

Stafford was dirt was when I started going to the races. Never got the dirt out of my system. Don't get to as many dirt shows as I use to (or would like to). But...I've gotta get my dirt "fix" every year though. Devil's Bowl would be a great place to go on a Sunday night. Wish it was possible to go more often.
