Autographs, pictures, handshakes, and racing goodies, all part of Autograph Night, a popular annual event especially with young race fans, will be one of the main highlights this Friday night, June 20, when Lee USA Speedway, Route 125, Lee, NH., swings back into action with exciting NASCAR racing action.

For the older race fan, another popular event is the tracks annual trip down memory lane. The Legends of Lee, retired racing drivers who competed at the Rte 125 race track over the last four decades, are invited guests of the speedway. Many drivers will be available to share memories of the race track that was built by the late Bob Bonser, as a dirt track, that eventually became the original home to super modified racing and the highly successful NESMRA organization.

The popular and exciting Allison Legacy Series has also been added to the program joining the weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Six divisions make up the schedule. Last weeks winner, Miles Chipman of Epping, NH., leads the list of entries for Late Model competition. Chipman is off to the best start of his young career.

Also this month, the seacoast speedway will play host to the NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lite Series, Friday June 27. The popular midget car organization, one of the longest operating sanctioning bodies in the country, features open wheel winged race cars that will compete at speeds over 100 miles per hour at the 3/8 mile speed plant. Midget racing is one of the oldest forms of motorsport competition in the United States . NASCAR stars Tony Stewart and Jeff Gordon, early on in their careers, have raced midgets successfully.

Racing action begins at 7:15 PM with practice getting underway at 5:00 PM.
