DeLange Racing of Lockport and driver Erick Rudolph continued their dominance in the #45 Original Pizza Logs/PrimeTyme Motorsports/Brigham Concrete SST Sportsman last weekend. They started on Friday night atSpencer Speedway in Williamson. Making his first Spencer appearance in 2008,Rudolph dominated the night's 75-lap NASCAR Weekly Modified feature in the potent # 45.

On Saturday night the DeLange team raced at their "home" track, Dunn Tire Raceway Park in Lancaster. Rudolph extended his SST winning streak to four races at DTRP in the night's 35-lap SST Sportsman feature, coming from the tenth starting position to beat both his opponents and a fast-approaching thunderstorm to Victory Lane. The Ransomville teenager also competed in the #45 Original Pizza Logs/PrimeTyme Motorsports/Brigham Concrete Modifiedand finished a very competitive third after starting ninth in the 50-lap feature event.

"We had a good weekend in the SST," recalled Rudolph. "We were the fastest car at Spencer and we won in our first visit of the year on Friday night. On Saturday at Dunn Tire we started pretty far back but we got to the front quickly. The car was really hooked up and we caught a couple of breaks when we needed them. This SST has been a strong car every time we have raced it this year."

This coming Saturday night the DeLange team will return to DTRP as the Lancaster oval celebrates its 50th year of racing. Rudolph will attempt to extend his track SST Sportsman streak to five consecutive wins in the night's extra distance 50-lap feature, and will also drive the #45 Modified in a 100-lap Race of Champions Modified Tour 100-lap Golden Anniversary race.
