A nice tribute to Jay Miller

I didnt find out about it untill I actually saw the trailor pull into the pit area... but the Waterford Speedbowl had the late Jay Miller's 09 SK modified pace the field before the first of 2 Sk races this past Saturday. It paced the feild for a few laps and I threw the double checkereds from the starters stand as it passed by the start finish line. Howie and Fran were both there, so check out there photos for the shots from the day

We wanted to bring the car to the track one more time so it could rightfully take its final laps. It was pretty tough and emotional but I am glad we did it in tribute to him as a way to let everyone see the 09 for the last time. Thanks to the Bowl for letting us do it and for accommodating us so well.

well as growing up going to the park and now being on the Starter stand at the Waterford Speedbowl, it was an HONOR to watch the 09 leading the pack as I was throwing the checkereds from the stand
