Wow. Check out page 30 in the August issue of Speedway Illustrated. Tony Stewart interviewed Dick Berggren, and here's a quote from Berggren when he was asked what was right with short track racing:

"I went to Riverhead Raceway on Long Island a couple years ago-never been there before-and just had a great time. The racers were so fired up. That's what's right about it. It's a good time when it's done right, it really is. I just love to see a guy who works for a living during the week, and his big deal is to run on Saturday night, take the checkered flag, get a trophy, go home, and be proud of it. That's what's right about it. It really enriches the lives of those who participate, and those who sit in the grandstands and watch it. That's what's right about it."

That was cool, he is a nice guy spent sometime talking with him. it was nice to make the magazine.:applause:
