2008 Late Model Champion

I guess nobody notice that Tommy is the LM champ for 2008. Based on the car count, all he has to do is start the last race.
Congrats to Tommy & Jim and the whole crew. They are a class act and have been a welcomed addition to the Late Models for 2008.
Hopefully next year the powers at be will decide to bring back the LM's. Danny will be coming back to defend a championship which he didn't get a chance to do because of his surgery. Combine that with all the guys that came out to support the division and maybe a few of the gentlemen that stayed away from Riverhead this season it could be fun racing again.
If not, we'll all do some traveling to other places in 2009.
Thanks to all the guys that came to the winter meetings and showed up from time to time at the track to race. It's to bad some were soured by some poor officiating and didn't continue to race here.

Big congratulations go out to Tommy, and to Jim for believing in him, along with his hard working crew. There may not be a more talented set-up man and driver at Riverhead. 4 Championships in 3 different divisions says much about Tom Rogers Jr. Wear your 'crown' proudly, Tom, you really earned it. :)

Congrats Tommy Jr and Jim on your championship. It just shows that if you put the right people together, you can make something good out of it. The team took a back marker and brought it to victory lane 3 times so far and a championship.

Finishing top 5 everyweek is a stunning feat even with low car counts it takes skill,a little luck and a great crew to make this happen.Hell of a job tom.The car came a long ways from the first couple weeks of practice.Congrats Unique Golf hell of a year.
