this isnt Modified related, but I had to post something about the CRAZY event they just had this past weekend at Stafford Speedway. I had to oportunity to be the "starter" for the FIRST EVER NEW ENGLAND APPERENCE of the 24 HOURS OF LeMons... and YES I ment LeMons and not Le Mans.
it was a crazy Enduro style race that lasted 14 n 1/2 hrs over a 2 day span.
It was a FUN FILLED weekend... you gotta see it for yourself to believe some of the things that actualy go on at these things... one good example was any time 2 drivers made contact on the ROAD COURSE at SMS, (yes ROAD COURSE) the drivers of the 2 cars would have to get taped together like in a three-legged race, go to the concesion stand, buy some food, and bring it to a track official around the track. Lets just say, I ate pretty well on Saturday night....
