Just curious to see what will happen to Tommy for fighting. Will he get a 2 week suspension and fine like the charger driver who fought with Darren Miller, or is he one of the chosen few who can do no wrong.

I am sure something will be done. It doesn't matter who you are. We were told at the Winter Meetings that if you throw a punch you will be suspended. The officials have held true to their word so far, why not now? To name a few, Brode, Tom Anderson, and even Mike Powers was suspended for something a member of his crew did. And they didn't have a beer in their hand when they threw the punch.

I would guess that means that penalties should also be handed out to the driver or drivers who didn't keep their owners/crew members from entering another driver's pit stall?
Just curious if that's the case.

W.J. you are absolutely correct. A rule is a rule no matter who it is. If the officials feel all involved are wrong then they should all be penalized.

Is there any rules as far as threats in the pits? cause there was a driver who came out of nowhere in his demo car hoped out and made some threats and had to be restarined not pointing fingers just wondering?

First Line, I couldn't agree with you more - all those other drivers were suspended for fighting in the pits, so Tommy should be suspended as well. Not only did he punch someone, but he punched an official. Can't people control themselves?

Tommy did NOT punch an official, as the person he allegedly hit was not working in that capacity on Saturday night. He is a car owner, and was acting as such. Let's not add facts not in evidence.

NO!! He's a Whelen Modified Tour official. He has nothing to do with weekly Saturday night racing except for being a car owner.

As with the other thread ( http://www.racerhub.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15982 ) related to this incident, both sides had the opportunity to post their say and let's hope we can get back to the racing again.
