Is the september 27 king of the mountain race the last points race for the legends or is this weekends two features the final two races?

The 27th is the last points race and it is for double points.

The KOM weekend may have extra drivers not chasing points at the track.
It would suck if say a top 10 guy couldn't get in the show as a result & fell out of a position as a result.

The top 10 in points after the Sept. 13 make-up Legends show(from Aug. 10) will be guaranteed starters for the KOTM, provided they attempt to qualify in both the heat and consi (must take the green flag in both-to use top 10 provisional).
The top 15 cars will qualify thru heat races, top 5 from consi (20 car field), and any provisionals will be added to the rear.

The top 10 provisionals apply to all divisions racing for the KOTM.

Also, just a reminder...don't forget to mark your calendars for Sunday, October 12 as this will be a rescheduled points(regular points) show from Saturday, Sept. 13's rain out.

The Legends event as part of the NELMA program on Oct. 25, will be a non-points event.

intense1, I'm confused. If someone qualifies in a heat, why would they also have to attempt to qualify in a consi???

W.J. I believe that he means that if you attempt to qualify in the heat and you don't make it, then attempt to qualify through the consi and you don't make it.
